How to Filter Tasks in Hypertasks: Mastering Shift+F

Hypertasks offers a powerful filtering system to help you manage your tasks more effectively. With a simple Shift+F shortcut, you can access a wide range of filtering options. This guide will walk you through the available filters and how to use them efficiently.

Accessing Filters

To access the filter options in Hypertasks:

  1. Use the keyboard shortcut: Press Shift + F

  2. Or click the filter icon in the header of your Hypertasks interface

Both methods open the Hypertasks Command Center (HTC) view of the filter options.

Available Filter Categories

Hypertasks provides a range of filters to help you focus on specific aspects of your tasks:

Communication Filters

  • Has unread notifications: Shows tasks with unread updates or comments

  • Present in inbox: Displays tasks currently in your Hypertasks inbox

Personal Task Management

  • Tasks assigned to me: Lists tasks assigned to you

  • Priority: Filter tasks by their priority level

  • Task Size: Sort tasks based on their estimated size or complexity

Team Collaboration

  • Assignees: Filter tasks by specific team members

  • Tags: Organize and filter tasks using custom tags

Time Management

  • Due date: Filter tasks by their due date or date range

  • Date updated at: Find recently modified tasks

  • Date created at: Identify new tasks or review older ones

Additional Options

  • Match ANY filters: Shows tasks that meet at least one of your selected criteria

  1. Open the filter options using Shift + F or the filter icon
