Browser-Based Push Notifications
To enable push notifications on your current device:
Locate the "Push Notifications on this device" option
Click the toggle switch to turn push notifications on or off
Note: When enabling push notifications for the first time, your browser will prompt you to allow notifications from Hypertasks. You must select "Allow" to receive push notifications.
How to allow Push Notifications in your Browser
If you see a message saying "Allow push notifications from browser settings", you need to allow push notifications in your browser for Hypertasks first. Follow the browser-specific instructions in the next section to enable notifications.
If you've previously blocked notifications from Hypertasks or need to enable them, you'll need to update your browser settings:
Chrome: Click the lock icon in the address bar > Site Settings > Notifications > Allow
Firefox: Click the lock icon in the address bar > Clear the "Block" setting for Notifications
Safari: Preferences > Websites > Notifications > Find Hypertasks and select "Allow"
Edge: Click the lock icon in the address bar > Permissions > Notifications > Allow
Remember, you can always adjust these settings later through the Hypertasks sidebar or your browser preferences.
